Because Yucatán is located in the Tropic of Cancer, it enjoys consistently pleasant weather throughout the year. From April through September, temperatures average highs of 34°C (93.5°F) and lows of 23°C (73°F). From June through September is the rainy season. Usually there is full sun except during one or two hours of rain in the late afternoon. From October through March the weather is pure perfection: sunny skies and little rain, with average highs of 30°C (86°F) and average lows of 19°C (67°F).
